Here is the recipe
125g butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed banana
1 cup mashed banana
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 Tbsp hot milk
1¾ cup flour 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 Tbsp hot milk
1 tsp baking powder
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake tin and line the base with baking paper.
Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in the bananas and vanilla essence until combined.
Mix the baking soda and milk together before stirring into the banana mixture. Sift in the flour and baking soda, stir it until it’s combined.
Stir the mixture into the tin and smooth the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until cooked.
